Better Dream Foundation collaborates with WATICO SRC for the One Girl One Pad Project

On July 4, 2024, the Better Dream Foundation and Wiawso College of Education SRC Women's Commissioner's Office partnered to launch "One Girl One Pad" at Sefwi Esaase Anglican Junior High School. The mission of the project is to ensure the provision of sanitary pads to support the girl child in other to encourage students not to let periods interrupt their education.

The collaborators extended their heartfelt gratitude to Nana Kwaku Ntuah 11, Chief of Sefwi Esaase and Asokwahene of Wiawso Traditional Council, as well as his community, for their incredible support in encouraging countless young girls to embrace our project.

They have affirmed their commitment to girl-child education in the days ahead, with a focus on promoting good personal hygiene.

 DJMexes, an award winning Ghanaian Disc Jockey, has expressed strong criticism of radio stations that fail to pay their employees. DJMexes has emphasized the importance of radio station managers paying their DJs and presenters without subjecting them to additional duties such as marketing. In his opinion, radio stations must pay their DJs and presenters without expecting them to bring in advertisements before payment is made. DJMexes considers it to be unethical to delay the payment of DJs and presenters. Furthermore, DJMexes has urged radio stations to hire professional marketers to bring in advertisements instead of placing that responsibility on DJs and presenters.
