The Western Region of Ghana has historically contributed significantly to the development of theatre in the country. However, in recent years, the region has seen a decline in theatre activities. Enter Evans Apraku Boadi, a visionary dedicated to revitalizing the theatre culture in the Western and Western North Regions. Evans Apraku Boadi is an alumnus of Sefwi Bekwai Senior High School, graduating in 2009. He pursued his bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), completing his studies in 2014. At KNUST, his passion for acting soared as he took on several stage roles, even sharing the stage with prominent Ghanaian actress Naa Ashorkor. Currently, Apraku Boadi serves as a lecturer at Ahantaman Senior High School, where he heads the school's drama troupe.
